REMOVING COWL PANEL

MY HOOD BLEW UP ON MY RIDE BEFORE I GOT IT.MY COWL IS ALL WARPED UP, AND MY HOOD HINGES ARE FLIMSY. WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO GET THEM OFF? I ALSO PLAN ON SHAVING IT ALL WHILE IT'S OFF.

umm the "correct way" to remove is to remove the fenders dash windshield nad hood and drill out all the spot welds. same way w/ the hinges.

i shaved mine on the truck, u could cut it all teh way around the perimiter(after u remove the wind shieild moulding) and just weld in new metal.
