I am trying to find out which company makes the best set of I-beams for my 2000 ford f350.

i have djm dream beams and i like them. i would like a short arm/lang arm settup more but you have to take what you can get. damn 50's technology, what were they thinking

Actually from an engineering standpoint i-beams is one of the best front suspensions for towing. And ford builds it's trucks to work. At least that's what I was told, and it wasn't from a ford guy, he wasn't even a car guy.

They just aren't good for lowering.

Yeah what husk said. We have a ford rollback that has outlived three chevys. The front end ond the chevys just can't take the abuse. Now, I would never lower one though.I think if you offset the cost of tires it would be cheaper to clip the front.

yeah dealing with the i-beams almost make me want to go to a chevy but i like the ford body style. hey dork do you have any problems with keeping the front aligned

if you can't lower it then it's useless

well i have had it for 6 months and i have been in the need of new tires as long as i have had it. so to answer your question you guess is as good as mine. i never went to get it alligned. im gettin tires here soon, then i will take it to get alligned, unless i can scroung up the money for the chevy front end and bags for the rear. i do have camber but you can correct that, but im not sure how much.

when i bagged and bd my ranger i had they align at ride height and never a problem unless i drive low alot and then the camber wear eats it up but never had a problem with tires on my ranger when i lowered it via beams jsut get it aligned right away

its the toe i would be more worried about. i have drivin cars that are cambered like a mother fucker and i dont get bad wear, but the toe was in factory spects. im not saying that camber doesnt wear out tires im just saying lots of people mistake toe wear for camber cause if your toed in you will eat up the inside tread.
