i got 2 oasis xd2000s and 2 5gallon tanks, what would be the best route for a powering system? i highly doubt i will try to run the of the main battery, the other option is a second battery hooked up to a isolator, or have a couple optimas deep cycles and just charge them up every so often, like u would with a juice setup

We ran 2 on a Ranger from Kansas. He had an updated alternator, 2 kenitic energy batteries, and upgrades wire from stock to 0 guages from the alt to the batteries and back to the compressors.

FYI he is using 2 5 gallons and almost never uses both compressors. Refill time from 150 to 200 is like 90 seconds with 1 and 15 or 20 with both.

If I remember right the XD2000 can run 24 volt also, right? If so get one of these www.streetcharger.com and put in two optimas just for the comps and your fill times will be insane.

Thats a agreat idea FABLAB.
also ditch the isolator, you can run a high amperage solenoid/relay instead, without the voltage drop.

yeah, i considerd the 24volts but i think the fill times will be crazy as is

your right fill times will be non existant.

The only downside to 24v is you can only go to 150 psi at least thats what my warranty stuff says.

zeinths have too many problems IMO, they just had a big recall on them for bad bearings
