who makes the panhard???? bolt up or weld??? is it going to be strong enough to hold the rear end after mounted or should i do a new 4 link. what makes the axle shift

i think its just the travel of the panhard on the suspension that causes it to move laterally i read that at full lift a panhard will pull the axle to one side. look into a watts link they keep it centerd throughout travel and i've seen a factory watts link on a land rover SE7 i think it was

Yeah the Expos have a forward 4 link. The uppers are semi triangulated. It has a panhard that is just formed steel. The stock one could be braced and be plenty strong. The stock one will pull your axle pretty far. I made one tuck a lip on 20s with semi large tires, and the tire was really close on the driver side. And the upper 4 link bar on the passenger side hit the frame. So I notched a little piece out of the frame and plated it up.

HOW CAN I RE-ENFORCE THE STOCK 4 LINK

shouldn't be a need to strengthen up the stock 4link bars, you wouldn't have room to put a bag on the bars anyway. what you need to do is just make a new panhard bar so it doesn't shift the axle so much.

if you want the thing to lay out, then ditch the stock 4link for many reasons.

on my old pathfinder i made the panhard rod adjustable by welding in a tie rod, so i could adjust where it sat when down.
