I recently got a 1992 Mazda B-2200 with the F2G8 fuel injected motor,

So far it has a c-notched frame, the top end removed, the interior gutted, the tortions cranked so its riding on the bump stops and 3 inch blocks in the rear, but I have a few technical questions that have been bugging me and I haven't been able to get any answers.

Will pacesetter headers mess around with my fuel injection at all?Like I know I have to weld an o2 bung onto the headers but is that all I'll need to do?

Also what kind of options do I have for a different fuel rail - camshaft and a ram intake?

Will I be able to switch over a head from a mazda 626, mx6 or anything else with more than 8 valves from the f2 block without any problems?

Also, I have a c-notch in my frame I just need to cut it out to mount bags when I get them, as for the bags in the front I'm doing my tortions and most likely getting some a-arms that are already setup for bags, is there anything else I have to do in the front for the bags?

Also without a 4-link how low can I get the truck?

I can tell you the pace setter header comes with a bolt on pipe that has an o2 sensor hole already in it. If yours doesn't IM me I still have the one from my last dawg laying around somewhere I think if I find it you can have it.

The header won't mess with the fuel injection as long as the O2 sensor is in place. Any type of alternate intake you want you'll have to improvise by finding something else that you can make work.

For a camshaft you'll have to do a regrind, nobody makes a core so all performance cams for the B2200 are stock reground cams.

You can put the 12 valve head on the truck but the intake and distributor get in the way. You can make an adapter plate to flip the upper intake around but as for the distributor your on your own for that. The 12 valve cam does not have the gear on the front to run your existing distributor setup.

ah, So you're unsure of what needs to be done for the distributor issue?

and thanks for all the info, its much appreciated.

Why not answer the question instead of just promoting your nazi site. nothing wrong with some promoting, but at least help the guy..

On other projects i've just gone and gotten a bung from muffler shops and havn't had any problems. Also unless you are planning on laying it out on 20s you don't need custom control arms, but they do look cool.here is direct link on a ok howto on the mazdas.http://www.lowdowncustom.com/tutoriaux-d6.html
