I had a local tire shop put in a small packet of equal balancing powder in each of my tires yesterday. That stuff is amazing no shaking or vibrating any more. and you never have to have them balanced again.
Yea, they use to use stuff like that in big bogger tires because most people didn't have a balance machine that could do the bigger tires, now most shops have one that will do up to like 46's or 49's.....
Pretty sweet, but $9 a tire seems a little steep. Hell, I'll just grab a bunch of packets next time I go out to eat. They give that stuff away at every restaurant I ever go to.
we used to use that for the big 4x4 tires. they also make some that look like a bean bag that glues to the inside of the tire. Most of the big mud trucks around here just use sodium phsulfate filled tractor tires.
