on an extended cab mazda, how would u relocate the filler to a different place? i just want to shave my bed on my new truck, not the green/silver one, to get a smoother appearence along with the door handles, locks, emblems, antenna, and tailgate handle.

post up pics of how u relocated yours and how u did it... please?

there's a bolt that holds the filler in place. if you pull that bolt out, there is enought slack in the fill hose to swing down into your fenderwell. i welded a wing nut to the bolt and painted yellow. made it easer to see in the dark. i would lift the rear of my truck and pull out the bolt to fill up.

I have a bed with a relocated filler. There's pics in my profile. The gas door was shaved and relocated to the top of the bed rail. I'll take better pics if you want to see. Unfortunately the bed's getting cut-up. I have to make room and nobody wants it.
