if your talking triangulation, 25 degrees each way from the centerline should be ok. 25 degrees total, no good

ya i do mean triangulation from the centreline..

You can easily get away with 25 deg (from center,) but you will need to take into consideration the stresses that are applied to the tabs when the vehicle is cornering. Just make sure the mounting points are beefy and you should be okay.
