I have an 01 dodge ram and the guy that made it lay took the upper a-arms and moved them up about 2 inches. Anyways, the tow was set at ride height, but when I lower it down, the tow kicks in enuf to make it that the tires will sqwall, and when I lift it up te tow kicks out so again the tires will sqwall. anybody have this problem and an idea of how to fix it?

The tie rod ends and the lower control arms aren't parrallel. Therefor the geometry is off. When I rebuilt my crossmembers to get my 02 to lay true rail I had the same problem. I just moved the rack and pinion up the same amount as I did the lower control arms and put everything back parralel. Now I have no problems. Look at your lower control arms and tie rod ends. I guarantee there not parrallel.

Reguardless what changes are made to the suspension geometry, there is only one way to eliminate "bump steer." If your suspension does not follow the guide lines set by this diagram, you will have toe issues. The tie rods might be higher or lower, but the line drawn from the i.c. (instant center) is very important. By moving a pivot up or down will change the i.c. and thus the proper tie rod position.

small question what size tire is this truck being made to lay out on? i cannot see why this was done unless your building the truck for 24's... i'm runnin djm arms and spindles i lay out on 20's with plenty of room for 22's

it was originally planned for 24s, but rite now has 20s the +4 is f***ing expensive, but anyways that was the plan but I just want the shit to stop and am lookin for some answers I'll get picks over the weekend
