OK I'm going to be buying Suicide Doors Super lift/pivot triangulated 4 link kit with the bags mounted on the bottom bars. I am 99.9% sure that I know where everything gets mounted, but I don't understand how you set it up before it all gets welded in permenently. I hear you guys talking about setting up your "ride height".....how do you do that? How do you make sure the pinion angle is correct? What should the pinion angle be? Anything else I need to take into consideration before installing the 4 link? Any tips or tricks you guys have to setting it all up? Please explain very detailed if you can because this is my first attempt at this sort of thing. Thank you soooo much in advance!!

Mark

PS - How come kits like the ones Suicide Doors sell have all the brakets for the 4 link except the frame braket like this one from Air Rides website http://www.ridetech.com/productinfo/...es/A116-1L.jpg

Here's a few things I wrote to read over as well:http://www.airridetalk.com/articles/drivetrain/the-u-joint-enigma/http://www.airridetalk.com/articles/suspension/burn-some-rubber/

I'd also recommend taking a look into this spreadsheet, and also consider looking at the library for a book called Chassis Design.

As for 'ride height'. Its just as it says, the height that you will normally ride at. Its definitely not where you are now (unless you are bagged with a different type of setup, but by your questions, I'd gather not).

As for why the SD kits don't have a frame bracket, its because they assume you will reuse your stock leaf spring hanger, but you can order frame mounts for anywhere from $50 on up, depending on what you need.
