pioneer dehp8600mp

on the pioneer dehp8600mp does anybody know how to go in and retime the gears for the fold down face. It folds down fine but when it retracts it grinds the gears. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have that same radio,its a badass radio but i dont know how 2 work on it,lol

it sounds like one of the small dip switches are stuck. I have a couple pioneers that have done that. Take it apart and check out all of the tiny switches to see if any of them are stuck. Also a stuck switch will cause the eject gears to do the same thing!

thanks bro I will check into that, before it did this the face would jam shut all the time.

try just pushing the reset button with a pen...

you would be surprised what reset buttons do lol
