C-10 layin out

Wat u got to have to make a C10 lay out on air, he has the air on but doesnt have lower control arms. He also does have spindles. Any Help?

67/72. is the easiest truck to layout that ive run accross

cups and bags up front

and u can notch the back and use the stock factory wishbone 2 link.. just mount your bag brackets up and that bitch will lay..

spindles would help..but they werent nessesary for the one me and a friend did.

we notched the front of the frame for good measure just in case he decided to run a bigger wheel for clearance.. but it layed hard with just the cups and bags up front and notch and bags mounted on the bars out back on 18" wheels


if its a newer late 70's early 80's
youll need to z the front of the frame and drop spindles are a must.

come to think of it we might have had to z the 67 i cant really remember



if all that is already done.. check the lines.. make sure the bag is fully compressed and isnt keepin the truck from layin out.. make sure the tierods arent touching frame.. get under it and see whats binding

67-72 trucks need to be Z'd as well. The front crossmember is virtually the same, and hangs below the frame 1.5". Spindles are a good idea if you want to lay on 20s or bigger. I think its DJM or Belltech that makes a 3" drop spindle. A few companies make bolt in cup kits, but they need to be trimmed to lay out.

^ ya i dont remember z'ing the frame but it makes sence.. i remember making the cups and plating the lower arm .. didnt take more than 3 days .. the rear is so easy. 8" notch and u can virtually mount the bags pretty much anywhere on the wishbone depending on how much lift and ride quality.. i love seeing the older c10's layed out
