question about how loud 40-series flowmasters are

i have a 86 chevy c-10 fullsize with tru dauls,and headers.would 2 40 series flowmasters be too loud in the cab,or would i be better off going with 50-series,i still want it to sound good tho...is there a big difrence between the 40-series and the 50 series?

i have super 40s their not that loud

i had a 40 series 3inch in and dual 2 3/4 out dumped and i thought it sounded good on my 93 chevy truck

anybody else,fixing to buy 1 of the 2,cant make my mind up.

Flowmasters use baffles to cancel and combine certain tones.If your pipes don't go out the back it will be loud with any flowmaster.The fourty series they make now is not the same as the original and really is not that loud.I would just run tail pipes and fourtys.
