2g S-10/Sonoma Body line

Has anyone shaved/thought of shaving this? I'm thinking about it to clear my wheels better. If some one has, please throw up some pics.

are u talkin about the one at the bottom of the doors where the bottom of the door buldges out. if so yeah i've only seen two vechiles that didnt have it anymore, one was the blazrado....and the little shop blazer. If u read the article about the little shop blazer they said "Dont try this at home. In fact dont try it anywhere" they ended up making new sheetmetal pnals that streched from the windows all the way down. Ive looked into doin it and i dunno if its worth it

looks badass but holy shit, lotta work.

i was thinking more about that while jsut watching some tv, besides all the metal work on the outside of the body, what about all the inner structure that would have to be reworked.....still does look badass tho

Lunatik, Yes and no.. Not to the extreme that they did. I just want that little part that dips into the body at that point gone.

I wouldnt shave it, just grapht some isuzu sheetmetal on the front s10 fenders and get an isuzu bed, you get a lot more room for wider tires, and personally i have never seen the isuzu body line with s10 nose, so that would be somewhat custom, here are some reference pics

Grafting the buldges into the s10 fenders a would be a different look id say ... wouldnt be all that bad to do either really ....its pretty much what i had to do to my s10 bedsides when i changed my s10 over to a hombre ....

i couldnt find a hombre bed anywhere period ...hell the donor bed with damage for the humps came all the way from MO. and i live in ne tenn. ... so i had graft those humps into my s10 bed cause didnt have a choice really

^^^He beat me to it but yeah back when I was building my s10 that is what i was gonna do is graft zu fender bulges on to my factory fenders.

Grafting the bulges may just work... Especially since I have a step side.
