back in the day when i bagged my old ranger i used early 90's rear nissan hardbody shocks because i heard that they were shorter and i could use them instead of drop shocks. they worked perfect.

but now im bagging a f/s chevy do you think i can still use them?

do you use the rears on the fronts or just buy a set of 4? i have used the rears on my ranger before but i need to get all 4 shocks now... they have a set of 4 tokicos on shox.com for 170 i think. do the fronts mount the same way as the rears on these trucks or does the top have a stud sticking straight out of the top?

i dont know about full size front shocks but i do know if you try to put hardbody rear shocks on the front of an S10 it wont work you have to use hardbody front shocks on the front so i dont know if this helps. But i can tell you that if your front shocks have a stud on top of the shock you need front hardbody shocks.

all i know is that the rear shocks are shorter than most shocks. i dont know if the front shocks are short too. if they are plz tell me. i was planning on using rear nissan shocks on the front and back with customs mounts....

thanks,

the fronts are short enough and if they arent buy a set of front shocks for a 89 bronco 2 they are hella short. just keep recipts so u can return them, if the hardbody schocks dont work.
