LAYIN OUT A HARDBODY WITH A FACTORY GAS TANK

WILL A 96 HARDBODY LAY OUT FULLY WITH A FACTORY GAS TANK IN IT.I MIGHT NOT HAVE MONEY FOR A CELL RIGHT NOW. WOULD IT BE SAFE?

Yes, but it would be best to raise the rear on the tank up as much as possible. Take the rear support off cut it in the middle, take another 1/2" off and weld it back togather. Then bolt everything back in place. I said 1/2" but you need to take your own measurements to be sure you have enough room. Although I would not use this method if I wad planning on doing a hell of a lot of dragging, just use it if all you want to do is lay it out at a show.

just put ya factory tank in the back of ya truck.. alot of people do it .. juss gatta add alittle wire and hose.. prolly cost ya less than 20 bucks

yea. u can put the tank behind the axle sideways between the frame rails. only have to extend a few wires and just get new hose cut from an auto parts store. the house just comes off the metal hrdline right behind the cab. its easy to do.
