im tubbing my 90 S10 firewall and the main wire harness plug, hood latch cable, and e brake cable are all in the way

i figured out how to deal with everything but the E Brake cable. I figure that i dont even really need it, layin the body on the ground is an e-brake enough. So im gonna remove it completley.

My question is if you remove with it fuck up anything. Has anyone done this? Cause i dont see where u could relocate it cause it has no slack at all to remount it else where

You can remove the e brake cable but you need to remove it completely from the front all the way to the axle. Take the drum off of the the rear and disconnect it from inside and you will have no problems.

thanks dood, i really appreciate it. I went ahead and did it before i read this though but now that i have its reasurring haha.

What did you do with your hood latch cable, and wire harness then?

Well the truck I did was not bodydropped so the hood latch cable was fine where it was. The wire harness I just moved it up on the firewall. I had to extend a few wires but it was no biggie!!!
