I have the universal front torsion bar kit from suicidedoors. I can't remember from the last nissan I bagged, how long should the upper mounts be??I know there is a good bit to trim off of the brackets but I can't remember how much.

use a jig, and you dont need to know how much to cut off, when i say jig i mean a piece of square tubing that is cut 4" long and 3" wide and 3" high. This piece of tubing will represent any bag fully deflated, just screw 2 holes into the top like a normal bag has and 1 at the bottom of the square tubing. Make sure the holes are spaced apart to the exact holes on the bags or the studs on the bags. After you drill the holes you need to place the square tubing on the lower arm where you want your bag to be sitting, jack the control arm up and wherever it stops is where you need to weld the upper bracket, the bracket will need to be cut to line back up with the holes on the squaure tubing but its necessary to do this so your bag will deflate all the way, and it saves a lot of time and will alaways have the square piece for any future bags installs, hope this helps

Just test fit it man. Have it as short as you can too still allow bag clearance between the rail. Just a matter of measuring really.

It should be pretty simple to do the math.
say 6.5" bag diamter to be safe. 6.5/2=3.25" from frame to center of bag. Add 1/2"-3/4" for bag clearance. So you know you need at least 3.75" to 4" from the end of the bag plate to the center of the bolt holes. Angles will factor in a bit but that gives a good starting point. You can always cut more. Just tack, test and trim.
