Do you hav ethe factory fuel pump still? If not you may be putting to much fuel pressure threw the carb making it run rich.

I don't know a whole lot about the yota carbs but on the mazdas they are a bitch to rebuild and adjust but someone else on here said to turn it all the way in then back it out a little thats what I had to do on my mazda and I got it running a little lean really but it works if I richen it any my idle gets all fucked so i just leave it but I also don't have emissions here in crawford county so I don't know if mine would even pass
