i actually did build my ranger...im just givin the kid a hard time im totally just fuckin with ya man. THat seam seal if you noticed is put on first then paint over top from the factory reason is, if you lay paint down you are SEAM strentghening the paint and not the join on the two pieces of metal, seam is actually used as a weld, they rosset weld then seam seal for strength and vapor block. If your por 15 flakes well guess whats coming off with that flake, seam seal. Chances of por 15 flaking will probably never happen but just so ya know you actually did it wrong. you can actually get away with tacks every half inch and lay down seam seal and its done. i have tested the seam seal i bought from the ppg store and it was strong when i put it on two pieces of metal and twisted it it took awhile to crack the seam seal. I built every inch of my ranger and sold it for a cad, i dont need a shop to do my work. And paint shine doesnt mean shit, good metal work is the real shine
