Ive been seeing that frame on here when i scroll through the forums once in a while but never knew it was your truck until i just saw the bag mounts. Paint turned out real nice and btw building a cover truck is a bitch!!! Or trying to is at least... Keep up the good work man and dont start half assing now. Youve got too nice of a base to put some shit on top.

i actually did build my ranger...im just givin the kid a hard time im totally just fuckin with ya man. THat seam seal if you noticed is put on first then paint over top from the factory reason is, if you lay paint down you are SEAM strentghening the paint and not the join on the two pieces of metal, seam is actually used as a weld, they rosset weld then seam seal for strength and vapor block. If your por 15 flakes well guess whats coming off with that flake, seam seal. Chances of por 15 flaking will probably never happen but just so ya know you actually did it wrong. you can actually get away with tacks every half inch and lay down seam seal and its done. i have tested the seam seal i bought from the ppg store and it was strong when i put it on two pieces of metal and twisted it it took awhile to crack the seam seal. I built every inch of my ranger and sold it for a cad, i dont need a shop to do my work. And paint shine doesnt mean shit, good metal work is the real shine

Seth- excellent job with the build. I always like to come on here and check out what's new on your truck. It's a real head turner and I wish you all the best w/ the rest of the truck. GREAT JOB!

Yeah I only wish this build up was on DVD. But then I'd prolly be stuck watchin it instead of building my truck. I can't ay more that hasn't already been said other than nice work and dedication. Most don't ever get the chance to build there rides and c it finished as they imagined it they spend so much time asking would this be cool if I did this and it ends up a compilation of 20 peoples ideas and then they think the thing is just "OK" looking and end up selling the thing off because it's not a diamond in there eyes anymore. "Seth you the man!"

Thanks guys! This is why I come here.

George, my floor is fully welded. Its stronger that way. I see the seam sealer as being there to cover up any pinholes in the welds. And on the inside of the cab, the seam sealer was on top of the paint. The stuff on the exterior was painted over. Thanks for giving me a hard time from day one.

Mad props Seth. Truck is looking good. Can't wait to see the cab on it. For all the haters, I think T.I. said it best. VVVV
