I'd go with a 225/45/16. It's an inch shorter than those 17's, still has a decent sidewall and the treadwidth is about the same as the wheel width so it won't look too stretched out. A 215/40 is half an inch narrower than a 8" wheel, and is a tiny tire...

yea im wantin to run a meaty tire... cuz i can lol. i wana run widers in teh rear, so 225/45s in teh back nad 215/40s in the front sound like a plan its on hold for a bout amonth so we can get gumps truck goin...

more pics tom after i remount the steering box/idler arm. and raise the lower balljoint so the front will lay again. and put int the drive shaft. and build a floor/firewall and get the bed on lol.
