I have a 97 4d civic. My problem is I'm looking for a solid color to paint it. Tried a local paint shop no luck. Looking for a custom color like baby blue but open to any suggestions of different colors.

I'm trying to go with a light blue or a bright green. And I could rock a pink but I think my friend would get mad if I took her color.

go to a local paint store and ask to see samples, they should have book(s) you can look at with many many colors. If not a body shop or painter may have them. House of Kolor has a few books themselves, thats how I picked mine.

I've been thinking about using the old Ford baby blue and maybe putting a pearl with it. How much of affect would a pearl make on it?

Go around to the dealerships and look at cars until something pops out at you. Then go to the parts desk and get the paint code for that car, and go have it mixed up. I've picked all my colors that way so far.

well what paint line are you looking to go with first off? Most have a custom color oriented line, such as dupont has hot hues and martion senior has hod rod colors. Just go to a local paint jobber and ask for some color chips and there you have tons of diffrent colors to look at.
