Talk to my boy Jason Perdue (sandy1) on here & Im sure he can give you some advice. He did
the bag setup on a fellow club member of mine...Tim (gob) & did one bad ass job. Both have profiles on here.

This picture should give a decent idea of what the bag brackets should look like.Oviously it will be a little different, but that is the style of bag mounts you want to run. Get a torsion bracket kit from someone to start you off.

Do you need a better picture than that? I have a couple, thats just the only one in my profile.

And I wouldn't get drop shocks, they don't have that much travel. Get some hardbody shocks, maybe your stock shocks will work. Also front shocks off a 1965 VW Beetle are pretty good. They're nice and short but get decent travel and are dual eye. Also are like $15-20 each.

you do need to use the torsion style front bag brackets, you will need to cut out and replate the bump stop mounts and remove the shock tabs on the lower control arm. also the upper control arm and shock mount tower is kicked back at an angle so you will have to cut the upper bag mount at an angle in the opposite direction so that the mount is straight with the frame and lower control arm. it's not hard to do and the control arm/shock tower is channeled and helps give the bag mounts stucture. NOTE: make sure you use gussets on those upper plates to keep them from bending up and pushing the bag into the ball joint bolt! any other questions just let me know.
