I haeve got to get his off my chest. A week ago today I got a company vehicle to drive. Well tonight I go to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. I'm in there for maybe 15 minutes, and when I come out I find somebody has hit it. I imediatly went to the service desk to see if they have a camera in the area I parked. While they are looking a the tape I call the cops. Comes to find out they don't have anything on tape. Walk back out and find out there is a lady parked across the aisle and she saw everything and got the license plate number. She had already called the cops as well. When the cops get there they tell me there were two witnesses that called it in with the same plate number. So now I have to tell my boss that his jeep that has less the 14K miles on it needs to be fixed. By the time the cop got everything he needed from me they already had and address and phone number on the vehicle. The witness said it was a red truck, it came flying down the aisle stopped and tried to turn around and backed into the jeep hard. All three teenaged boys got out and looked at the vehicles, looked around, then got back in and took off. The one witness followed them for a while but lost them at a light, then came back. Thank goodness for two good semeritans. Wish the cops could have given me the address.

I had a similar incident in Austin one time. Me and the wife were coming home from a movie one day. We were on the feeder road about to get onto interstate when I see this van pull out. He pulls out right into traffic. This guy in a chevy truck rearends him pretty bad. There was nothing he could have done. So instead of the guy in van pulling over, he drives off. So me and the wife follow him (still on feeder road). He stops at red light so I get out and walk up to his window. He was a mexican that was probably illegal cause he didn't understand a word i was telling him and plus he ran from the scene. Anyway, the light finally turned green and he left. i got back in my truck and followed him into a sub division. I got his plate number and went back to scene of wreck. Cops were already there so I gave them my information about where he was at.

I work in a home improvement center, lots of contractors with large trucks shop there. One day, thank god it was just my work car, but some guy literally backed up onto my car. it was late evening and already getting dark so i didnt have as much luck finding out who it was. Needless to say my 98 cavalier ls looks like someone took a paint scraper to the bumper and bottom of the hood.
