cuttn it down

Ok i need some info on how is the best way to make a long bed into a short bed!!!! I just picked up the new issue of sport trucks and it is informative but the tech article was on 60-72 chevys not on 73-88 frames if their the same thanx for your time....

I'm pretty sure the frames are the same..

I don't know if he'll know but ask relaxedmitch. He did an 88-98 style. His was like an 89 or so. He'll know the particulars in general im sure. Ask him though and good luck on it. I was gonna have to do that but luckily i found a damn good deal on my truck. But good luck!

oh except on the older ones the very rear curves inwards but up to that point I think they are the same say were you are cutting it at..

some where behind the cab, lol, i just cant find a short bed no where near me but a ton of long beds i started this thread too find someone on here who has done it or is going to do it. im going to check out your profile...

Don't the 60-72 have the 2link with coil springs and the 73-88 have leafs.
