Smoke Tailights

The question is. How do you smoke your tailights. I like the look I just have no clue on how ppl do it. Please help....

there has been a few topics on this already, check the body and paint section for them....everyone says there is a million ways to do them. i would scuff the lens down with 1000 grit wet. spray some black candy on it( black toner in clear) spray 2-3 coats to the shade u desire. then apply 3 or 4 coats of normal clearcoat on them..wetsand and buff...that is the correct way to do them, not out of a spray can.......just check my profile, all my lights are done likethis

for one there is a lot of correct ways.How i do it is get some black automotive paint.Reduce it down with alot of reducer so when u pull the paint stick out none of it stays on it at all very hard to do if u dont know what your doing.But its about 80 percent reduced.Then just as many cots on tell u like it then clear it.

Hell night shades is what i used. It's just a spray on window tint. I bought a can of it for 5 bucks at massey's accessories and i did my taillights on my 95 galant turned out awesome. Just practice on a piece of glass or something first.
