I would start out grinding away at the cracks. Kinda gouge (SP) them . Then reinforce the front and rear of the spots where it cracked

Like jason said grind away at the crack then use some mar-glass or tiger hair.
What did you use to polish the intake and pulley brackets?

stop! drill a hole on each side of the crack where it ends then grind a small dish all the way down the crack fill it with glass mat and resion then finsh it off with bondo or duraglass.this will keep it from cracking when the mad bass hits.
