That happens when people are pushing to hard during the cut, it you just take it easy and let the blade do its job, you have nothing to worry about. Oh and you just can't bolt a metal blade on a abraisve saw the, metal saws spin much slower than the abraisves. Infact I threw my abraisve saw away years ago...

I was warned that the vise didnt hold small stuff solidly enough. I might give it a shot. You only live once!

I have the DeWalt multicuter saw. I have cut on angles, although i did shoot a piece about 50 feet, Just once though I have used a C clamp to the main fence

Loud as hell when its cutting though 4" sched 80 pipe.--

We're using a Clark metal saw. Best 70 bucks ever spent. Cuts 3/16" plate faster than anything I've ever used. Blades are $30 and last pretty good.

we use a portacable dry cut saw here the shop. Works awesome. Just make sure the material that you are cutting is securely clamped and just ease into to it dont push it. First time i used it i thought i could just hold a piece of metal and cut it. Wrong!! Chipped several teeth on the blade and messed my hand up pretty bad. If used properly this saw is dream to use.

I bought a Dewalt metal blade saw about 2 years ago, and it's awesome. I will never go back to a abraisive saw again. Well work the extra 200 bucks. I use the 355m evolution blades, and we cut rectanglur tubing on a daily basis. Even sometimes 5x5 3/8 tubing and sometimes 6" round pipe, with no problems. A blade usually lasts me about 5 months, and thats with everyday use. The trick is let the blade do the work, don't push on it. And watch out for the shavings they are hot and sharp, and will stick in your skin. Saftey glasses are a must....If you have any questions about it you can call me at 512-809-1854.

Where did you get it?

Have you thought of making a jig with a piece of angle to hold it at a 45 degree angle?
