The Rodeo front suspension is very different from the isuzu pup. The rodeo has a lower A arm while the truck has radius rods. The spindles are completely different, and not interchangable, so no drop spindles for the Rodeo.

If you want to do it right find a toy frame like your planning. Width wise they are pretty close, not sure about wheel base, but that wouldnt be too hard to change if your going to putting a link and a back half on it.

Good luck. Keep us posted

Hey dude. Miles is the guy to listen to. He and I have both dug in very deep into our Rodeo's and have both done them different ways. I read thru this entire thread and I am trying to figure out excactly what you are trying to acheive. At the begining, it sounded like you just wanted to do a static drop or a mild bag setup, but towards the end, it sounds like you want to bag it and lay rocker. Which is it? Static is the easiest, and will only cost you a set of blocks. A simple bag setup can be done with the existing equipment and smaller wheels, but you may find your self unhappy cause you def will not lay. Then youll have to go back in and redo everything. If you take a look at my profile, you'll see I swapped in a 2wd spacecab/pickup clip and we Z'd it 2 inches and then put AIM 2 inch drop spindles in. It lays hard on 20's and that brings me to my biggest regret, I still have the 6 lug. This limmits you to some wide wheels. If I were to do it again, I would use a Toy clip and an RX7 or Supra IRS. There would probably be some negatives to thet route to. My advice, if you dont want to doo alot of work, build an S10. LOL. Good luck.
