i have a 2.2 with a pacesetter header and 32/36 weber carb. i have between 135-140 psi compression in the cylinders, i have spark, i changed cap, rotor, wires.this problem just started when i start up in the morning the number one header tube doesn;t get hot like the others do after running 15 minutes you spary water on the first tube and it just sits thier it does have a silght miss also. on the hiway it still has plenty of power to pass cars but it seem that the miss goes away till you come to a stop. any thoughts?

#1 is the EGR cylinder, it may run slightly cooler.

then you have spark problems with the number one cylinder check to see if it the wire or some thing in the cap

would a stuck or burnt valve do something like this?

yes, but a stuck or burnt valve would show up on the compression test.
