fuel pump

ok, there are 3 lines on the fuel pump. 2 of which are 5/16 and one 1/4. I am guessing the 1/4 is the return, and the front 5/16 is to the carb and the aft 5/16 is from the tank. I need to know if this is right.

THE SIZE OF THE LINE DOESNT MATTER I RAN 3/8 ON MINE FOR ALL THREE AND IT RUNS BETTER THAN IT DID BEFORE. JUST MAKE SURE THEY ALL GO TO THE RIGHT SPOT

yeah you have it right blitch, most fuel pumps have an arrow on them to indicate the flow direction.

I have one of those regulated fuel pumps too, usually the return line is up at the carb inlet. You can tell the return though, it comes out the top usually.
