for everyone who builds their own frames or bends tubing and stuff

bend tech 3d demohttp://www.medfordtools.com/bendtech/btez3d.exe

bend tech regular demohttp://www.medfordtools.com/bendtech/btez.exe

you can put in measurements and build entire frames and it has a thing in the 3d version where it will animate the bends and show u how and where to make th ebend and how much pressure to use and angle its kinda neatthe demo is limited. but im gonna use it when i build my shock hoops and control arms for the long travel system im building

lol, ya... how's that Tiger knockoff you guys call Vista coming along? i've been reading some reviews on that and from what i can tell they just took XP and made everything into bubbles. hell, they said you still have to install a driver just to hook up a Zune, which incase someone dont know is also made by Microsoft.... Windows in general is a joke, no matter what system it's hooked to.

and Jason, if you want 3d get Lightwave. look up some of the posts by toad on here and see his 3d work. all lightwave on a mac, he's inspired me to get back into it also, i used Ryno on a PC when i was in school so hopefully it ain't too hard to switch over....

vista is nothing like windows other than the start menu and navigation

its like windows with a cool skin
and its really graphical
min system requirements are 1 gig of ram
just to run it.

i dont like it tho.
im not for all the little animations and fade in and out of programs and transparency

its a dumbed down version of windows.
it has built in foolproof web browsing into the operating system

and the only good thing is how easy it is to categorize files. like music, video, or in my case about 10 gigs of psd files

my computer is really fast and it sometimes lags.. id hate to see a computer that can barely run it.

theres a g5 at my old school with vista on it
its a perfectly good waste of a mac
but it runs so great..

One of the reason I moved to Austin was to see about a job at Power Computing (i think that was the name of it). As soon as I moved there though, they went out of business I think. But back in the days when the PowerPC first came out, I bought an 8500. I think it had a 120 meg processor and it cost me over $4,000 I believe. It came with a 17" monitor which put the price well over $5,000 back then. That thing was the shit. Whenever I go to a computer store, I tend to end up in the mac section just to see what they have these days. Since I don't work at dell anymore, next computer i buy might have an apple emblem on it.
