changing valve parts

i work witha bunch of morons. They always throw away perfectly good valves. Only problem is they are 120 volt. is there any way i can just take the tops off the normal valves and switch them to 12v? thanks

The electrical component is just a solenoid. You could swap a 12v solenoid onto the valve. what kind of valves are they.

are they ac or dc 120 volt if their ac just run an invertor

they are mostly asco 1 inch valves. or they are parker manifold valves. I was just thinking of using them for stuff accessories like air horn and air shocks for the bed cover.
