I am lifting my girlfriends 1998 Toyota Tacoma right now. I'm using 3 inch blocks in the back... The shocks seem to be maxed out already and its at ride height. I called the local truck places and they didnt have shocks in stock, and I would have to measure all kinds of shit, length compressed, length extended, the ends, etc. Is there a stock shock off another truck that is about 3 inches longer that would bolt up? I kind of need to know quick, otherwise I have to put it back together stock...

try using one from a dodge ram 4x4. actually all you would have to do is take one of the stockers to the parts store of truck parts house with you and find one that it longer than whats on it fully compressed. YOu really wouldn't need to measure anything.

I got some... Riebes had some Ranchos that worked.

I have a question though. It seems as if the angle on the Carrier Bearing is a little much... How can I fix that?

justa thaught...but do you have the angle of blocks in the correct direction?

There arent angled blocks. And would that even change the angle on the carrier? i know it would on the u joint but i dont ko if thats the problem.

I used Pro Comp's they make one that is 3 inch's longer and most time if you buy 3 you get the 4th free....
