how does everyone calculate the airspace of some of these boxes? They cant be very accurate, unless im just stupid (which is possible)

REDNECK CALCULATIONS.... IN YOUR MIND, CONVERT THE SHAPE TO A RECTANLGE BOX FIND THE SQ FT OF THAT AND ESTIMATE HOW MUCH YOU SHOULD SUBTRACT IF YOU WHERE TO SHAVE THAT RECTANGLE DOWN TO ITS SHAPE... REDNECK ACCURACY AT IT FINEST!!!! SOUNDS STUPID BUT IT DOES GET THINGS CLOSE

Ive only made one fiberglassed box and it had shapes and curves and that is exactly what I did.

packing peanuts. fill the box with them and then fill a cardboard box of a known volume.

that or, fill it with water and use a cup to pull it out and measure by gallons. and no, it wont ruin the box if the wood and all is resined.
