Im lookin into buyin a 1996-1997 Cadillac Seville, and Im looking into bagging it. Only thing Im worried about is the factory air ride system. I know some of you have torn these apart before. Any idea what Im getting myself into? Any advice at all? If psychopath reads this, Im sure you are familiar with the caddy im lookin at. It already has them 20 inch wires on it.

Sorry, I meant Cadillac Deville.

My car only had air in the back. I unplugged the airlines to them when I had it static dropped. That made the leveling light start flashing all the time. I put a sticker over the light and let it flash.

I took out the airshock or whatever when I bagged it. I removed the rear coils, welded in circle plates and used slambags. I put regular shocks where the factory airride was. The light still flashes at all heights.

Just used strutbags on the front but thats about to change!! Dunno if my car is set up like a deville but maybe that will help.

I have a 96 as well and its not too much work, depending on what way you go on the set up. I recommend the Chassis Tech struts for the front, since they worked well with mine. for the back you will have a choice; you can go with a bag set up where the spring is at, or like mine and use a cylinder set up. I removed the shock, the spring, and relocated the shock tower to make mine work. Check out my profile for pics.
