Whats up guys my bed is comin off the canyon 2maro for some finishing body work. And I am planning on droping the rear of my truck another 3 inches in the rear, combined with the 4 inches it's already droped. So i figured i'd build the notch for the frame now. My dad is gonna weld it up and put it in but need some help on metal choices and sizes. This truck is gonna be bagged soon so figure i'd do a big notch.I'm gonna be runnin 24's n the back prolly so what size should we go with. Sorry for the long post, but thanx for the help!!

if you never plan on pulling a trailer you could get some 1/8 flat plate and make it any shape you want. just cut out the shape you want and make 4 of them and then make a top and bottom peice then just weld it all together and blend it out 2x3 is also a good idea just giving my idea

You can just calculate it, but if you cant do that, make a scale drawing and measure it:

Measure your angle between the top piece and 'vertical piece' on the inside of the notch. (ex. it measures 110)

Minus that angle from 180. (ex. 180-110=70)

Divide that number by 2 (ex 70/2 = 35)

You need a 35 degree cut on each piece of tube to make the 110 degree joint.
