Which kit did you buy? I used the Mcgaughys 3/5(spelling) and it was simple as hell. I didn't even take the rear tires off to do it but then again the kit did not require a c-notch. Make sure you grease the shackles real good so it doesn't squeek later on down the road.

Definitetly need to run a smaller overall diameter tire. I'm currently running a McGaughy's 4/6 kit and the stock size tire touches the fender lip on the front. The tires I have (275/45R20) are just small enough to not touch during articulation. If you are going to run a 5/7 drop, you might need to run a slightly smaller tire yet. Best bet would be to install the kit, then take your measurements before buying your tires.

That is really the only issue on a static drop. Otherwise just make sure you check your pinion angle and get an alignment. Double check the tourque more often than you might think. I have gone through two driveshafts because the rear u-bolts kept coming loose, even after checking them three times over the span of about 2000 miles. Shit happens, be proactive.

If you have new front spindles, don't forget the threadlocker!

if you dont mind me askin how much did you pay for your drop and where did you get it

i paid around 1100 bucks for the kit. i got it from slammed1.com. the kit consisted of spindles, springs, notch, flip kit, shackles, and shocks. i highly recommend Brian at slammed 1. you will not find better customer service than Brian and he really knows his shit when it comes to dodge suspensions. my truck rides better than it did when it was stock.
