Ok, I want faster lift on the front of my Full size. I am running 3/8" line and read about everyone running 1/2" lines off of their 3/8" valves. If I do this I would have to change out my front 3/8" port bags to 1/2" port bags so there is no restriction at the port correct-amindo? That sucks!!!

I HAVE THIS ON MY TRUCK --- 3/8 VALVES TO 1/2 INCH LINE ---- AND IF YOU LOOK AT THE ORIFICE OF A 3/8 LINE -- ITS SMALLER AND ITS ACTUALLY AS IF YOU AR RUNNING 1/4 ---- SO THERFORE IF YOU RUN 1/2 LINE YOU ARE TRULY RUNNING 3/8 --- GET IT .... -- I HOPE I MADE SOME KIND OF SENCE OF THAT -----

TIM GARZA (BAGD RANGER), What the hell? I don't get it. (Just kiddin'). Are you running 1/2" port bags? Thanks

dont need to upgrade the bags.

The slow point is the smallest hole.

If you're running a 3/8" system, to get everything to be as past as it possibliy can, all the I.D's have to be 3/8" at the least.

So, on 3/8" DOT Line the inner diameter is actually about 1/3" inner diameter.

so just try to upgrade the lines. maybe it will be noticable.

doordraggintaco, If I keep the 3/8" fittings at the bags what am I gaining here? if I adapt a 1/2" fitting to the 3/8" fitting at the bag, I will still only be flowing 3/8" at the bags. Am I missing something here? Thanks

You can upgrade your fittings from 3/8 to 1/2 very easly. They make fittins that will screw into 3/8 NPT holes, the other end accepts 1/2 line. So all you need to do is screw on some new fittings, and run the line, then you'll be all set for speed.

Also, for faster lift, go with more pressure. Unless you are allready running high pressure. I run around 175 p.s.i. and it tosses my 4 cylinder around like nothings in it.

Ok guys, I just need 1/2" fittings for 3/8" port bags. I didn't know they made em'. I'm running 180PSI and it is slow as hell. I just bought 2 new 480 compressors with a 200PSI switch, these changes should make a difference. thanks for the help

i swapped to 1/2 in lines with 3/8 bags and valves on a nissan and it was a whole lot faster.front was almost hopping on 160 psi.
