tilt bed?

where did you guys get a kit if you have 1? or did u just make it

im not a hundred percent certain, but i belive they are all just fabbed

I fabbed up one in a couple hours on a ranger. made L shaped hinges that tilt the bed up and back at the same time for clearence of the back wall.

what about rattling??

diod you use any shocks?

i built mine using a single triple stack back and fabbed a mount in the rear. then made slides for the bed to slide on to keep it all alined. no shocks. no raddling. i have 1/2 inch round tubing that sits about 1 1/2inchs off the frame that lock in to two mounts i made on the bed it self which keeps it locked down in place so that it doesn't rattle or move when i am driving or draggin.

can oou guys show us some pictures that would be realy helpful me too i trying to see how i can do it

I was thinking about raising my bed floor way up... and making my bed tilt to the side for access when I needed to get to my bags or something..

I was going to bolt the bed to the frmame securly like its suposed to be.. Then jack the truck up and get under it, fab up three hinges off of the frame on the passenger side.. so the driver side would hinge up..

Then take out all of the bolts.. and use some hood pin bolts sticking up thru the stock bed mounts on the driver side with some big ass wing nuts and lock washers..

It sounded good in my head.

Simm1523 has a nice lookin' setup for his tilt bed. Very clean and functional.

this pic is from 1994. it was my first mini. the tilt bed was done using a power tilt and trim motor for an outboard boat engine and a reversing hydraulic cylinder from a local tractor supply store.

its kind of funny looking but theres a kit to make a bed dump, its 1 huge airbag mounted under the bed, comes with brackets and stuff, but like i said its funny looking
