I have an 03 Dodge Ram in the shop getting fully shaved right know and it looks like I'm in the market for a soleniod/popper kit. I already have an alarm with plenty of auxillary outputs so I dont need a brain or wiring. Does anybody know where to just get the poppers and solenoids from without the wiring. I think I would be wasting my money to go out and but the whole set up so if anyone knows where to just get the components for a good price it would be real helpfull.
not trying to tell you what to do or anything but i would lose that alarm brain and just get a full kit from autoloc that brain make act funny with the solenoids or what if your alarm goes off a runs down the battery or something i got the autoloc kit on my ram and i took off my alarm and just run the brain with the kit it works great its something to think about
I just got 2 heavy duty poppers, 2 relays, and the wires for $50 off ebay. I've been using my viper alarm for over a year on my truck and i've had no problems. Good luck with it man.
Just letting you know, for an extra 15 bucks, you can get the whole door popper kit off ebay, then sell the brain, if you want to get some of your money back on it, just an idea of what I'd do.
