why not put in a 7MGTE? they are a little bigger but are turbo engines? hell, if you have the money, drop in a 2JZ-GTE. and i thought that a while back a 7M made it into a late model 4runner at sema. so it should fit. probably need electric fans, and possibly a firewall notch, but no biggie. good luck man.

Or a 1jz. That's what I got planned for my 92 4runner. Not that expensive either.

im doing the 5MGE because i have an 83 celica supra... which is a celica body and a supra motor, so the 5MGE has the same mounts as the 22r motor because the celicas back then were the carburated 22r's... plus this motor only has about 125*** kms, and my yota has over 400*** kms lol

So after an extensive search i reached the end of the internet and found this

its for all the supra motor swaps into toyota trucks.. enjoy!
