01 civic 4dr vtech swap had a few questions. help?

ok i have a 01 civic 4dr lx no vtech with an auto trans. i have a parts car 02 civic 4dr ex vtech standard trans. i want to keep the auto, (only auto trans car i have) i was looking at the engne harness and it looks like it connects to the standard trans. My question is has anyone done this swap and what is involved? do i have to buy a new engine harness with an auto trans? i know i have to use the computer. any help would be greatly appretiated, thanks in advance, Chad

u can use your stock wiring harnes just use the v tech computer and pin in the wire in the wiring harnes that connects to the computer and then run that wire to the v tech cylinoid ive done it plenty of times its easy

are you sure it is the same for this year type. i know they did that with the 96-00. also i won't have to send it to honda to reprogram my ignition key when i swap computers?

u need to get the engine wiring harness for an ex auto and u need the computer and immobileizer from an ex auto it wont work with the 5 speed brain
