help with 1/2" smc valves

im trying to mount some of these close to each other but I can't because they are to tall to screw in.. does the black electrical box come off so i can put it on?

yes it does just pop off the snap ring and then the metal top with teh info comes off then the black box and then a curved washer thing and there ya go

black box if off now. but that silver rod still makes it too tall....

Unscrew it.

Unscrew the whole top of the valve. There is 4 small 8mm bolts holding it on. Make sure not to loose the spring.

took the black box off. the 4 bolts and the side with the spring. but i cant get the silver rod off. it has a nut on it but i cant unscrew it... im lost....

i got a 1 1/16'' wrench and it came right off.. thanks....
