i want to put tahoe wheels on my 99 s10my stock swirlies have a pretty good offset and the tahoes have none but im wondering with the wheel adapters if i would be able to tuckrunning tube arms up front and would i be able to tuck out back without have to flare my bedlet me know what you thinki think the stock look of the chevy wheels will look sick
That sounds like a very bad Idea. wouldnt waste the time or money to have factory chevy wheels and the chance you might lose a wheel at any time. Plus I bet you will have some pretty bad vibration from that whole settup. As far as tucking goes the rims have a high enough offset to be fine with an addapter. Dont do it though
In my opinion wheel adapters are a only if i had to option they are generally expensive, and there are allot of wheel options for the s10. If you are dead set on using the wheels have you sh*t redrilled.
i dont personally know what the rims look like. but if you can figutre out the offset of the rims. you can figure out what thickness spacer you would need. then after that find out if you can get that adapter in that thickness. reason being that changing bolt batterns uusualy make the adapters a little thicker than just useing bolt on spacers woth the same pattern. if you do do it. make sure you have a friend apply the brakes when putting on the spacers and i stress this! torque them! then put your wheels on. and then after a week or so take off the wheels and retorque the spacers again. ive seen first hand spacers coem loose from not being proporly installed.. if you really think it will be cool. so it. you wil be the only one rolling those rims for sure!
WHEEL ADAPTORS / SPACERS WOOOOOOOOOW!!! NO THANKS I HAVE SEEN THE WORST OF SPACERS, YOU LOOSE A WHEEL ITS JUST NOT SAFE. IT WOULD LOOK SICK YA KNOW, YOUR TRUCK, YOUR UNIQUE LOOK BUT TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM SPACERS...
