On escalade rims, i know you have to have the center machined out larger, but do the lug nuts center up on the hole or do you have to have the lug holes redrilled too. the lug holes are a bit bigger in diameter, is this true, can you use the stock lug nuts

I would recommend getting some different lugs you don;t really have to but if you use the stock ones they sink in pretty far so its hard to get a good bite on them. Just get some chrome acorns thats all you need.

I told you this in the pm. Go to pep boys, gets bulge seat lug nuts. THey have a whole rack, find mazda pitch and stud size and buy the ones that are bulge seat.

You cant use the stock ones, the corners of the lug nut will do the holding instead of the taper and they WILL fall off.

sorry, didnt get a p.m. but thanks for the info, might be costly but im willing to try to make them fit and tuck, thank god for sawsalls and nibblers, lol

you can actually cut the supports and pull the bedsides out about 1/2 inch then weld them back in, that should be enough to tuck (1/2 inch is about 13mm), and I think it looks really good.

I did it to mine, didnt even have to trim the fender lips.

i have that done on my 2wd bed right now, we spread it out about 1/2" i like it, but since im swapping over to my 4x4 bed, i should be in better shape.

what size tires would be good to run, i would like to stay in the 40 series, like a 205/40-17 or a ???/40-18 depending on the rim i go with
