Pinch Welds

99' Tacoma. Can Anyone tell me the best way to get rid of pinch welds. I was folding it in but I also don't want it to be un even. I need it to lay solid Rocker.

If you fold it right it will lay flat and even. Mine does, no problems. Just roll it, and roll it some more. Mine points up on the inside at about a 45 degree angle, and mine lays rocker hard. Theres a picture in my profile if you don't believe me. It can be done.

Did you use a hammer and just pound it?

Cut them bitches off!!!

I used a crescent wrench to bend it up most of the way, then hit it with a hammer some more after that.

Yeah cuz when your rockers separate and your cab falls apart its AWESOME, right?!

Believe it or not, the factory doesn't put pinch welds on cars cuz they look cool, or even for minitruckers to cut off, it kinda holds it together!

But yeah man, like Seth said, works perfect

Don't get me wrong, i know all about cuttin rockers off...



But you can't jus cut em off and not re-weld em up

And laidout i know YOU know that, but not everyone does!
