Thanks for all the good comments, it's definitely motivating to hear some good feedback. To answer the question with the exhaust. Yes it does fit under the car, I'm gonna run 2 1/2" exhaust and it will have 1/2" of clearance when laid out. Also i didnt have to cut the drip rail/trunk jam area at all. The tires are 1/4" away from hitting it and that is with it laid out with a 1/2" block under it. So i should have plenty of room to install the tubs. My rockers are 1/4" taller than stock due to the install of the 3/16" rockers so that helps a bit. I can see how you guys would think there wont be room for everything but there is, I just dont have much extra room to play with. I have to run the exhaust through the frame rail to get it to come out the side of the vehicle that is how tight everything is underneath. This project has been a trying one but i think its gonna pay off in the end. How many body dropped cutlass' do you see out there? I know of two other than mine one of them being my buddies. So hopefully the car should grab some attention cause i really wanted something different. I will post some pics with more sheetmetal laid down and the new motor this weekend hopefully. Thanks for all the encouraging comments, it really helps keep me motivated to get it done. And when I comes out it will get dragged hard so keep an eye out at Indy this year for it in underconstruction class! Thanks again.

Hopefully you consider me as one of those. I have been going trough this the same time as you. You had motor issues I had get skinny and baby issues but like you said you don't see many old school body dropped cuttys out here. As for the drip rail I assume your wheel tire combo must actually be smaller than mine. Never thought of that. but trust me when it got moved to the weeds I laid it out and holy shit was the first comment it got!
