Most new vehicles just use an adhesive. I think the holes stopped in the 90s.

Nah, my Ranger had holes in the tailgate and fenders and its an 01. But then again, Ford hasnt changed it much since 1993.

Make sure the pannels never been painted on....its new so prolly not, utsometimes at a shop they put the emlems on too soon to get it out the door and the tape will stick into the clear a lil and peel it up when the emblems or odyside moldings come off...then you have to block and prime...

Maybe- My 00 Dakota had holes behind the v8 emblems. Just went out and got sigle hole led lights and filled them in since the badges were on the fender. Turned out to make nice side markers.

The only emblem that has holes is the one on the grill. The rest are a piece of cake.
