im sure this was asked a million times but here it goes. im helping a friend traditionally body drop a first gen s10 5 spd. does any one have any info or pics of what they did with the clutch and slave cylindar. from what i can see its gona hit the upper a arms when aired out and be even worse after the BD. any pointers would be cool

you have to raise it up a few inches, my buddy did a 5 inch BD on his 96 sonoma, and he had to raise it up quite a bit... sorry i dont have any pics, but im sure if you start going thru the pics of S10s on here it wont be hard to find

or recess it into the firewall, use a hole saw big enough to take out the little notch where it rotates into the firewall, get a pipe that is the same size as the hole, ram it through the firewall as far as you can (i don't know if it hits something under the dash, or the cylinder hits the firewall first), then take out your clutch pedal, weld a piece at the top that is as far as you recessed it in, reinstall, and you should be good to go.
